Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee: Stable Condition as Doctors Monitor

Former Chief Minister of West Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, is currently under mechanical ventilation at Woodlands Hospital, where he was admitted on July 29, 2023, due to a lower respiratory tract infection and Type II respiratory failure. Despite his health challenges, doctors at the hospital have reported that his overall clinical status remains stable.

 

To ensure the best care and monitoring, a multidisciplinary medical team comprising experts from various fields is diligently overseeing his progress. The team consists of specialists in medicine, critical care, interventional cardiology, pulmonology, anesthesiology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, general medicine, and more. This collaborative approach aims to address any medical complexities and provide comprehensive support during his treatment.
