Cheridan Logsdon, a 23-year-old woman from Kentucky, announced her pregnancy in a funeral-themed maternity photoshoot.
In the striking images shared on her Facebook page, Cheridan Logsdon donned a black gown and veil, evoking a funeral theme. She humorously captioned the photos with, “RIP to be kid-free! At the ripe age of 23, the young and turnt, rich auntie has finally transitioned over to a mother. All jokes aside, I’m truly excited to start this new chapter in my life! Still can’t believe it but it’s growing on me, iykyk” (a popular acronym meaning “if you know, you know”).
In the photographs, Logsdon can be seen holding up sonogram images while wiping her eyes behind the dark veil. The unique and unconventional nature of the photoshoot quickly caught the attention of social media users, resulting in a viral sensation. While many viewers extended their congratulations and best wishes for her pregnancy journey, others found humor and amusement in the offbeat theme.

Acknowledging the mixed reactions and perhaps some negative comments, Cheridan Logsdon later posted a message addressing potential critics, stating, ”So I made my pictures public so friends and family could share it… now it’s random strangers commenting nonsense, but I actually have nothing but time, so tread lightly.”
She also hinted at more unconventional maternity photoshoots in the future, sharing, ”Now I gotta come up with something just as different for the maternity shoots & yes with an S because there will be multiple.”
In addition to the viral photoshoot, Cheridan Logsdon revealed plans for a gender reveal celebration with family and friends scheduled for October 8.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Ms. Logsdon is a soon-to-be graduate of Kentucky State University, adding another chapter to her life journey alongside motherhood.
