Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has revealed his desire to conduct another interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi if given the opportunity. In the past, Kumar had conducted a ‘non-political’ interview with the Indian leader during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The interview had garnered significant attention, with various aspects discussed, including the PM’s relationships with opposition leaders and his fondness for mangoes.
During a recent interview with news agency ANI, Kumar shared his eagerness to interview the Prime Minister once more, stating, “Who wouldn’t want to interview or meet the Prime Minister? I think anybody would want to. If I get a chance, I will also do it.”
When asked about his future plans and potential political aspirations, Akshay Kumar firmly stated, “I am meant to make films at the moment. I don’t know what’s next in life, but at the moment, I am just made to make films that make a difference to society. That’s my role as an Indian.”
Currently, Akshay Kumar is appearing in theaters alongside Parineeti Chopra in the film “Mission Raniganj.” The movie tells the story of 71 miners trapped 350 feet below a coal mine, focusing on engineer Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill’s efforts to rescue them. Kumar praised the film as the best of his career, emphasizing its honesty and impact.
In addition to “Mission Raniganj,” Akshay Kumar has several other projects in the pipeline. He is set to star in the Hindi remake of the Tamil drama “Soorarai Pottru,” scheduled for release on February 16 next year. Furthermore, Kumar is part of an action thriller film titled “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” alongside Tiger Shroff, and a comedy film, “Housefull 5.”
The actor’s dedication to making socially impactful films continues to be a significant part of his career, and he has no immediate plans to enter the realm of politics. Akshay Kumar’s work in Indian cinema remains focused on entertaining and inspiring audiences.
