As news of the tragedy spread, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav sprang into action, reaching out to officials and directing them to provide immediate assistance to the affected individuals. He also instructed Minister Uday Pratap Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Ajit Kesari, and Director General Home Guard Arvind Kumar to rush to Harda to coordinate rescue operations. Additionally, burn units at hospitals in nearby cities like Indore, Bhopal, and the AIIMS in the state capital were put on high alert to accommodate the influx of injured individuals.

Fire brigades from neighboring cities were mobilized to the scene to help extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further. Despite the valiant efforts of emergency responders, the scale of the disaster was immense, with casualties mounting and many individuals still feared trapped inside the factory.

Expressing his condolences over the loss of lives, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh for the families of the deceased from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). In a statement, PM Modi conveyed his distress at the tragic incident and urged the local administration to provide all necessary support to those affected.
