Sofia Hayat is a well known actress, singer, model, television personality and former nun, who worked in the British and Indian entertainment industry. She participated in Bigg Boss 7 in 2013, where she entered as a wildcard contestant but got evicted.

Sofia is of British Asian descent. she was born on December 6, 1984, in London, United Kingdom in a Muslim family with three sisters and two brothers. She was born to Zammurrad Hayat and Surriya Hayat. She holds a BA (Hons) in Music and Performing Arts, and has studied acting for seven years, including the Meisner Technique, of which she is a fan. She did her bachelor degree (BA (Hons) ) in Music and Performing Arts, and also she studied acting for several years, including the technique Meisner.
Sofia Hayat was married to Vlad Stanescu from 2017 to 2018. On 1 March 2017 She got engaged to her boyfriend Vlad Stanescu an interior designer by profession after dating him a week. On 24 April 2017 Sofia and Vlad got married in a private ceremony in London. She divorced her husband Vlad after completing one year of their marriage anniversary.
Career :
Sofia Hayat made her TV debut as a presenter through the show Zee Music TV SKY in 2000. In the subsequent time, she became the part of the various other reality shows and British serials such as Absolute Power as Shanti, Footballers Wive$: Overtime as Zuki, Jonathan Creek as Selima El Sharad, The Midnight Beast as Sloman’s. And she participated in the reality shows such as Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi Ki, Bigg Boss 7 and Comedy Nights Bachao.
Sofia made her acting debut with the English movie “Exitz”, directed by Eduardo Sánchez in the year 2007.
