BCCI CEO (Interim) Hemang Amin expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “As we approach the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, a pinnacle event in this year’s international calendar, we are thrilled to unveil BookMyShow as the ticketing platform.” Amin highlighted the commitment to providing fans with unobstructed access to the thrilling matches and ensuring a seamless ticketing experience.
To ensure a comprehensive and organized ticketing process, the ticket sales for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be conducted in several carefully managed phases. The initial phase will feature an exclusive 24-hour window dedicated to ICC’s commercial partner, Mastercard.
The pre-sale schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023 tickets is as follows:
- 24th August, 6 PM IST onwards: Mastercard Pre-sale – Non-India event matches (excluding warm-up games)
- 29th August, 6 PM IST onwards: Mastercard Pre-sale – India matches (excluding warm-up games)
- 14th September, 6 PM IST onwards: Mastercard Pre-Sale – Semi-Finals and Final
Ticket sales for other users will follow the below phases: - 25th August, 8 PM IST onwards: Non-India Warm-Up matches and Non-India event matches
- 30th August, 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
- 31st August, 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Chennai, Delhi, and Pune
- 1st September, 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai
- 2nd September, 8 PM IST onwards: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
- 3rd September, 8 PM IST onwards: India match at Ahmedabad
- 15th September, 8 PM IST onwards: Semi-Finals and Final
