In a recent debate surrounding a no-confidence motion against the government, Union Minister Amit Shah directed a pointed remark towards Rahul Gandhi’s tenure, highlighting that the Wayanad MP has been “launched” into politics on 13 occasions, yet each attempt has ended in failure. Shah’s comments were made during his address in the Lok Sabha as he responded to the no-confidence motion brought forward by Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi. He categorically labeled the motion as “politically motivated” and underlined that the current Central government, unlike its predecessors, has garnered the trust of the people since independence.

Shah’s speech centered on the exceptional dedication of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who tirelessly dedicates up to 17 hours a day to the service of the nation. Shah emphasized that PM Modi has earned popularity and respect among the masses due to his unwavering commitment.

Moreover, the Union Minister drew a striking comparison between the government’s approach to issues concerning farmers and that of the previous administration. He highlighted the present government’s focus on developing a self-reliant system rather than relying solely on the practice of loan waivers, which was often adopted in the past.

Amit Shah criticized the three notable challenges in Indian politics—corruption, dynasty politics, and appeasement—while showcasing that the Modi-led government has prioritized performance-based governance and made significant strides in addressing these issues.

Furthermore, Shah referred to a specific incident involving Rahul Gandhi’s visit to a woman named Kalavati and questioned the true impact of such actions. In contrast, he highlighted the proactive initiatives undertaken by the Modi government, which includes providing essential needs like housing, ration, and electricity to the underprivileged.

By highlighting these points, Amit Shah aimed to underscore the government’s dedication to the welfare of its citizens and the track record of delivering on its promises. He juxtaposed this performance-driven approach with the perceived lack of substantial success in Rahul Gandhi’s political ventures, ultimately emphasizing the administration’s commitment to the betterment of the nation and its people.
