In the 103rd edition of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign, which aims to honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. Under this campaign, various programs will be organized across the country to commemorate the immortal martyrs.

As a tribute to these luminaries, the campaign Meri Mati Mera Desh, special inscriptions will be installed in lakhs of village panchayats nationwide. Additionally, the ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ will be conducted, carrying soil in 7500 urns from every corner of the country to culminate in Delhi. Alongside the soil, saplings from different regions will also be carried, and the fusion of soil and saplings will create the ‘Amrit Vatika’ near the National War Memorial, symbolizing the unity of ‘Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat.’

PM Modi also expressed appreciation for the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel, who saved numerous lives during floods and torrential rainfall across the country this year. Despite facing natural calamities like flooding and landslides, the collective efforts of the people have demonstrated the power of unity.

The Prime Minister also highlighted America’s return of over a hundred rare and ancient artifacts to India. These artifacts, ranging from 2500 to 250 years old, hold cultural significance from various regions of India, including terracotta, stone, metal, and wood artifacts, leaving viewers mesmerized by their beauty.

Furthermore, PM Modi praised Uttarakhand women for preserving the traditional cultural heritage of ‘Bhojpatra.’ These women have been crafting exquisite artifacts and souvenirs from Bhojpatra, which has historical importance as ancient scriptures and books were traditionally preserved on these leaves. The initiative has had a positive impact on the region, promoting local products and cultural heritage.

In the fight against drugs, India achieved significant milestones by seizing and destroying around 1.5 lakh kg of drug consignments, setting a unique record of destroying 10 lakh kg of drugs. This reflects India’s commitment to combating the menace of drugs and promoting a safer society.
