UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan landed in Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening to participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, a prestigious event that brings together global leaders and showcases investment opportunities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi warmly welcomed the UAE President at the airport, and the two leaders are set to hold a roadshow.
The ceremonial welcome included a guard of honour for President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing the significance of his visit to Gujarat. The arrival of the UAE President is part of the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, scheduled from January 10-12 at Gujarat’s Mahatma Mandir.
In a post shared on social media platform X upon his arrival in Ahmedabad, PM Modi expressed his joy over the visit of the UAE President and highlighted the growth and opportunities created by the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. He noted the special nature of President Mohamed Bin Zayed’s visit, emphasizing their close association.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, initiated in 2003 under PM Modi’s leadership when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, has become a significant platform for showcasing the state’s growth and attracting global investments. The 10th edition features 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations, highlighting its international prominence.
Besides President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, other world leaders, including Timor Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta, are participating in the summit. The event aims to host various activities, including seminars and conferences on globally relevant topics like Industry 4.0, Technology and Innovation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydrogen, Electric Mobility, Renewable Energy, and the Transition towards Sustainability.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, an integral part of the summit, provides a platform for companies to display products using state-of-the-art technology. Focus sectors include E-mobility, Start-ups, MSMEs, Blue Economy, Green Energy, and Smart Infrastructure.
The Ministry of Development of the North-Eastern Region is leveraging the Vibrant Gujarat platform to showcase investment opportunities in the North-Eastern regions. The summit serves as a catalyst for discussions on economic growth, innovation, and sustainable development, fostering collaboration between India and international partners.
