PM Modi Lauds Armed Forces, Condemns Opposition’s Words

In a spirited address to the Lok Sabha during the discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended the valor and dedication of the armed forces while strongly rebuking opposition’s leaders for their disparaging remarks. He emphasized that the country stands firmly behind its armed forces and will not tolerate any attempts to undermine their morale.

 

Addressing concerns raised by certain opposition’s members, PM Modi expressed disdain towards any insinuations of disunity or separatism within the country. He condemned the notion of advocating for a separate country within India, stressing the importance of national unity and cohesion.

In response to criticism regarding alleged Chinese intrusion into Ladakh, the Prime Minister reiterated his unwavering faith in the strength and capability of India’s armed forces. He dismissed any attempts to demoralize the forces through derogatory remarks, emphasizing that such tactics would not diminish the resolve of India’s defenders.

 

PM Modi highlighted India’s progress in maintaining peace and security over the past decade, asserting that terrorism and Naxalism have been contained to isolated pockets. He credited India’s policy of zero-tolerance towards terrorism for garnering international recognition and praised the armed forces for their exemplary performance in safeguarding India’s borders and maritime territories.

 

Furthermore, the Prime Minister underscored the positive transformation in Kashmir, noting the region’s unprecedented development and the shift in focus from security concerns to developmental initiatives. He urged the nation to take pride in the strength and capabilities of the armed forces, emphasizing the importance of recognizing their contributions to national security and prosperity.

 

PM Modi’s remarks serve as a reaffirmation of India’s commitment to safeguarding its territorial integrity and promoting peace and prosperity across the nation. His resolute stance against divisive forces and unwavering support for the armed forces underscore the government’s determination to uphold national unity and security.
