A 17-year-old girl was purportedly stabbed and kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend outside her college in Karnataka. Later, the accused himself took her to a hospital.

In an alarming incident in Karnataka’s Ramanagara, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly stabbed, abducted, and subsequently taken to a hospital by her ex-boyfriend. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of the girl and the circumstances that led to this unfortunate event.

According to the police, the incident took place outside the girl’s college. The accused, identified as Chetan, allegedly rammed his car into the girl as she approached the college entrance along with her classmates. Following the collision, he reportedly stabbed her with a knife. Subsequently, he is said to have pulled the injured girl into his car and abducted her.

Realizing that the girl was bleeding profusely, the accused took her to a hospital. CCTV footage from the hospital captured the moment when the girl was taken out of the accused’s car.

Witnesses to the incident attempted to intervene by throwing stones at the car in a bid to stop it, but the vehicle reportedly sped away from the scene.

Reports suggest that the girl, identified as Sanjana, and the accused, Chetan, had been in a relationship since 2020. However, conflicts between their families arose when Sanjana’s aunt disapproved of their relationship. This family discord appears to have led to a strain in their relationship, with Sanjana beginning to avoid Chetan.

Ex-boyfriend Chetan has been detained by the police and is currently being questioned as part of the investigation into the incident. The authorities are likely to delve into the details of the case to ascertain the motive behind the alleged stabbing and abduction.

The incident highlights the importance of addressing issues related to young relationships and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals, especially teenagers, in such situations.
