Aman Chopra is an Indian Journalist and news anchor. He is one of the finest television journalists and anchors in India. He has a good hold on political news, and hosts political debate show. He holds an experience of more than twenty years in journalism. Currently, he is working as a news editor with News18 India, a leading hindi news channel of India.
Aman Chopra was born in Delhi. His Father Virender Chopra is an Interior designer. His mother is Rita Chopra. He has a younger sister named Shruti Chopra Sachdeva. He did his schooling at Ravindra Public School Pitampura, Delhi. He completed his Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication from Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Then, he pursued Post Graduation Diploma in Public Relations from Delhi University. He completed MA in Mass Communication at Lovely Professional University. In 2014, he got married to Saloni Sablok, an interior designer. Together they have a son, Kabir Chopra.
Aman Chopra started his career with print media. He has also worked with the Trinity Institute of Professional studies, Delhi, Arena Animation, Delhi, Aakriti Art & Animation and Net4News Online. He briefly joined a PR agency and then moved to electronic media. He began working as a news reporter with IBN7. Then he joined CNEB, and worked there for almost four years. He has also worked as a news anchor with Rajya Sabha TV and News Express for some time.
Aman Chopra then joined ABP News, and worked there for almost fiver years. At ABP, he hosted different kinds of news bulletins like Aaj Ki Tarikh, Ghanti Bajao, Rath Yatra and Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri. In November 2017, he joined Zee News as a senior news anchor and worked there for around four years. On Zee News, he hosted popular political debate show like Taal Thok Ke and other news bulletins.
