Rhea Chakraborty is an Indian film actress. She was the girlfriend of the popular Bollywood actor, Late Sushant Singh Rajput.
Rhea Chakraborty was born on Wednesday, 1 July 1992, in Bangalore in a Hindu Bengali family. Her father’s name is Indrajit Chakraborty. Her mother’s name is Sandhya Chakraborty. Reportedly, Rhea was dating the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, and they were often spotted together. After Sushant’s demise, in her social media posts, she confirmed that she was Sushant’s girlfriend. Reportedly, she was the last person whom Sushant had called before he committed suicide on 14 June 2020.
In 2009, she participated in the MTV India’s reality show, TVS Scooty Teen Diva, and was the first runner up in the show. Later, she has worked as a host and VJ in various MTV shows. - After almost a month of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death, his father, K K Singh filed an F.I.R. against Rhea Chakraborty at the Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna vide FIR no.241/2020 dated 25-7-2020.
- Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summoned Rhea for the probe related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and Drugs Case. After a three day of questioning, the NCB arrested Her on 8 Sep 2020 in drugs Case under section 27A. On 7 October 2020, the Bombay High Court granted her cash bail of Rs. 1 lakh.
