Richa Anirudh is an Indian Television Journalist, Radio Jockey, News Anchor, Social Activist and Guest Speaker. She is one of the most popular Television personality in India and she widely appears in various media event, Debate Show and Television programmes. She works in Big FM and hosts the reality show Big Heros.
Early life :
Richa Anirudh was born on May 31, 1975 in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India. Her father Harish Badal, a doctor and her mother Rekha Badal, a homemaker. During her childhood, she initially spent her early age in Moodhapande, UP. Then She lived in a very small town, Dhanaura in Moradabad district, UP. Education :
Richa received her school education from St. Francis Convent, Jhansi after her admission in 1981, and did her 10th board from here. Then She joined Christ The King College, Jhansi for classes 11th and 12th. She did her graduation in Science from Bipin Behari Degree College Jhansi. Simultaneously, she studied at APTECH computer institute to get a 3 year masters diploma in computer software development.
Family Life and Career :
Richa Anirudh shifted to Delhi, and started working for SPIC MACAY. And then freelanced with DD National, anchoring the programme called – Ankur. In 1997 she got married Anirudh Thatte and shifted to Ajmer. Then in 1998, she joined a state level Hindi daily of Rajasthan “Dainik Navjyoti” as trainee journalist. She is blessed with two daughters Ayesh Anirudh Thatte and Ishita Anirudh Thatte (2001).
In 2001, Richa Anirudh returned to Delhi and joined Pt. Ravi Shankar as his Office Administrator. Also started her professional career as an anchor for DD Sports, ETV Urdu. Selected in AIR FM as Radio Jockey. And, throughout her successful career, she has worked as an anchor for various television networks including, Zee News and IBN 7. Her experience of Radio Jockey landed her in BIG FM and is currently working there. Among her many outstanding works, hosting the talk show Zindagi Live made her come into light in many corners of India.
