Rubika Liyaquat was born on April 18, 1983 in Udaipur, Rajasthan and a large part of her childhood was spent in Udaipur. She belongs to a Muslim family. Her father’s name is Amar Liyaquat and mother’s name is Fatma Liyaquat. Her sister’s name is Anjum Liyaquat. She did her schooling from Udaipur’s St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School. She did her graduation in Bachelor of Mass Media from the University of Mumbai. Rubika married Naved Qureshi in April 2012. The couple lives together in Noida and has two children, a boy and a girl. Career :
Rubika Liyaquat studied journalism from the University of Mumbai. In 2003, she got a chance to work for Channel 24 for a period of three months. After completing her graduation in 2005, she had to look for a job for two years. In 2007, She started her career as a news anchor with the channel Live India. In 2008, she joined News 24 as an anchor and senior correspondent. Next, she joined Zee News as an anchor. She became popular by hosting Taal Thok Ke, a debate show. In August 2018, She left Zee News and joined the ABP News Network. At ABP News, she started hosting the prime time show Master Stroke. In April 2019, she joined the list of some Indian journalists who have interviewed PM Narendra Modi. Her presentation was praised during Indian General Election 2019. Her excat salary is not known, but she earns more than 3 lakhs rupees per month as per information available in public domain. As she is placed among eminent news editors of India like Chitra Tripathi, Rohit Sardana, Sweta Singh, Neha Pant, Meenakshi Joshi and Anjana Om Kashyap. She is also very active on social media.
