Selena Gomez was born in Grand Prairie, Dallas, Texas, on 22 July 1992. She is the daughter of Amanda Dawn and Ricardo Joel Gomez. She was born into a middle-class family in Grand Prairie, Texas, and was raised there. She completed her early education in Texas through homeschooling, and she graduated from high school in 2010. Her parents split up when she was just five years old. In order to provide for her family’s financial needs, her mother worked for other people and even gave up her life to raise Selena.
