Shweta Jha was born on 21 October in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She was born in a Hindu family. Her father, Binoy Jha worked as a professor at Jamshedpur Women’s College. Her mother’s name is Mala Jha. She has two sisters, Shalini Jha and Supriya Jha. She did her schooling from DAV Public School, Jamshedpur. She attended Jamshedpur Women’s College to pursue her graduation in English honours. On 12 May 2013, she got married to, Ajay Jha who is a news anchor too, and currently working with News 18. The couple has one son, Aarav Jha.
Career :
Since her teenage years, shweta jha wanted to become a renowned TV Anchor and relocated from Jamshedpur to Delhi to make her career in journalism. She started her career in electronic media in 2004 as an assistant producer in Sahara Samay. In 2007, she joined India TV as a senior producer and anchor.
