Donald Trump Accuses Meghan Markle of Disrespecting Queen

Critics argue that Meghan Markle using the Sussex title is an insult to Prince Philip and Harry's family name of Mountbatten-Windsor.

Former US President Donald Trump has voiced his disapproval of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s actions, accusing them of being “disrespectful” to Queen Elizabeth II. Speaking on the radio show ‘The Hugh Hewitt Show’ hosted by Hugh Hewitt, Trump expressed his concerns about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s behavior during their time in the British royal family.

Trump specifically criticized Meghan Markle’s treatment of Queen Elizabeth, stating, “I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen. They treated her with great disrespect, and I didn’t like it.”

The former president went on to contrast Queen Elizabeth’s leadership with his perception of President Joe Biden’s performance, saying, “She was an incredible woman. She was so sharp, she was 100 percent. When you watch Biden, you say this is a different planet.”

Furthermore, Trump indicated his disagreement with the actions of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which may refer to their public statements about the royal family. He commented on the ongoing public discourse surrounding the couple’s relationship and said, “I think it’s not a good situation going on with the two of them, but I didn’t know that they don’t like me.”

Expressing his willingness to engage in a debate with Meghan Markle, Trump stated, “Somebody mentioned it might be possible. They wouldn’t be the only ones. If you want to set it up, let’s set it up. I’d love to debate her.”

This isn’t the first time that Donald Trump has criticized Meghan Markle. In a previous interview with Nigel Farage on GB News, he labeled her as “very disrespectful” to the Queen and questioned her behavior. Trump had also commented on the possibility of Meghan leaving Prince Harry for someone else in the past.

In recent years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been the subjects of public attention and scrutiny for their decisions, including stepping down from their roles as senior working royals in 2020 and their candid interviews about their experiences within the royal family.

Trump’s remarks add to the ongoing debate about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with the royal family, with various opinions and viewpoints being expressed on the matter.
