Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a strict deadline for the full implementation of government welfare schemes in rural areas, directing officials to ensure that all schemes are fully implemented within six months. In a move aimed at reaching deserving beneficiaries who have not yet availed the benefits, the government is launching the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ across all 2.7 lakh panchayats in the country.
The campaign, set to commence after Diwali next month, will continue for several weeks. Under the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ specially designed ‘raths’ (mobile units) will reach beneficiaries throughout the country.

- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Grameen): A flagship housing scheme aimed at providing pucca houses to rural beneficiaries.
- National Rural Livelihood Mission: Empowering rural households and alleviating poverty.
- PM KISAN: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, which offers direct income support to farmers.
- Fasal Bima Yojana: A crop insurance scheme to protect farmers from financial losses due to crop failure.
- Poshan Abhiyan: The National Nutrition Mission, focusing on improving nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
- Ujjwala Yojana: Providing LPG connections to below poverty line (BPL) households.
- Ayushman Bharat: The world’s largest government-funded healthcare program, providing financial protection and healthcare access to millions.
- Janaushadhi Yojana: Ensuring the availability of quality generic medicines at affordable prices.
- PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana: Expanding food security measures for the underprivileged.

Following the state elections, the country will gear up for the Lok Sabha polls, expected to be held in April-May next year. Narendra Modi will seek a third term as Prime Minister, having secured back-to-back victories in the general elections in 2014 and 2019.
